Imam Mohammed Al-Bukhari is regarded as one of the most illustrious Hadith scholars in Islamic history. His book Sahih al-Bukhari, which collected the Prophet's words, actions, and habits, is one of the most important sources of prophetic influence in history.
He visited all of the major Islamic learning centres of his time, spoke with scholars, and exchanged hadith information. According to legend, he heard from over 1,000 men and learned over 600,000 traditions.
In Hadith, he followed a strict method, inquiring of the narrators and references, and he became a symbol.
